Values
Collaboration
We take a collective impact approach to addressing complex issues of health inequity in the Black Community. Using a collective impact model, the Good Foundation brings together mission-aligned organizations to achieve the vision of a healthier community.
Elevation
We are a platform that amplifies the voices of those often unheard, yet who make a difference in the health of the Black community. Using the platform of the GOOD Foundation, we highlight and celebrate the work of individuals and organizations addressing issues affecting health in the Black Community.
Alignment
We are unapologetically clear about our focus on supporting health outcomes in the Black community, and we are committed to partnering with those who share our belief in and support for eliminating health inequities.
Advocacy
We are committed to addressing policies and practices that create systemic obstacles to the Black community achieving positive population-level health outcomes and optimal quality of life.
“I for one believe that if you give people a thorough understanding of what confronts them and the basic causes that produce it, they’ll create their own program, and when the people create a program, you get action.” Malcom X
